Cowara Transport was formed in 1988 as a heavy haulage and road transport division of the Cowara Group. Locally owned and managed, we have strategically positioned Cowara Transport to fully service the wine industry in Western Australia's South West.

We have numerous haulage configurations to service general freight. Cowara Transport is now the largest turn-key wine logistics business in Western Australia. We have expanded our services by the construction of temperature controlled warehouses to cater for the increasing demands of specialised storage of both bulk and palletised goods. The company now competes favourably on a national and international level in integrated wine logistics. 

Cowara Transport is varied and encompasses many combinations which include flat tops, semi tippers, tautliners and tipper skel along with telehandlers and forklifts. The prime aim of the transport division is directed at the wine industry with an ongoing development commitment to create a specialised bulk and pallet wine / grape logistics service Australia wide. Cowara Transport handles not only wine and fruit, but also dry goods including glass and packaging products on a day to day basis from Perth to Margaret River, around Australia and now around the globe.

With the turn of the century, Cowara concentrated on consolidation and it now employs 25 permanent staff with more resources being applied to administration and management roles.  The company also took a new direction through transport to fully service the wine production industry.  Several haulage configurations were changed from general freight to container freight. Cowara Transport is now one of the largest operators of its kind and the only locally owned and run provider in Western Australia.

Cowara Transport has extended it's services through increased plant and equipment and the contruction of temperature controlled warehouses to cater for increasing demands of specialised wine transport and storage of both bulk and pallestised goods.  With six warehouses in the South West and one in Perth we can now offer our clients a logistics solution tailored to their needs.
